Created as a customized personal commission for Natasha, this wave painting was inspired by the Kanagawa Vol. III painting that was on display at the Sixth Stage of Sleep event that I co-hosted. Having loved this painting, Natasha and I discussed a custom take on the painting that would reflect the elements she most liked from the work, combined with other stylistic elements that I specialize in, such as the monochrome watercolour.
